Evil Dead is an upcoming 2013 American horror film directed by Fede Alvarez and starring Jane Levy and Shiloh Fernandez. It is a remake/sequel of the 1981 critically acclaimed cult horror film The Evil Dead, which was written, produced, and directed by Sam Raimi, who co-wrote and produced the remake. It is the fourth installment of The Evil Dead franchise, and the first not to be directed by Raimi or star Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams.
